INTRODUCTION

The third generation of the Porsche Boxster was designed to reflect the looks of Porsche's flagship 991 and 998. While incorporating a lighter and more rigid chassis to plant it firmly on the ground to handle the performance tweaked flat 6 boxter engine. Xcentric was able to alter the 981 to a more track oriented supersports coupe. Xcentric's 304 stainless steel exhaust system including headers changes the car characteristics from an everyday road coupe to an everyday performance machine with a distinctive high pitched exhaust note in the upper range and an aggressive growl in the lower range.
